Hi, I'm Gifford (Giffie to my family and close friends, Giff (same, safe), Giffy (my mom would object about the spelling), Gif (and I roll my eyes, lazy, just ask), Clifford the Big Red Dog, (you owe me a drink), Gilbert (I'll refer you to a mortician)... and yes, once I did wait all year to get my Golf Membership crest to put on my golf bag... after a whole year of being harassed... one crest was left, "Gilford Wilkins". Yarmouth Links (Ted and I had a laugh about that one, but he knew my handicap).
I was raised in the small rural fishing community of Overton; proud son of a fisherman, and worked plenty a year. My cousin Colin learned to play badminton, and hit me in the face so many times I started playing tennis. (Thanks man) That led to a tennis scholarship led to Lee University (TN) and a Bachelor of Science (on the side). Scholarships led to South Western Baptist Theological Seminary (TX) and a Master of Arts in Education while interning at Park Cities Baptist Church in North Dallas. I completed the last 8 hours of that degree at Oxford University (UK) in the summer of 1996. I love Nova Scotia, was saved on the hills of Wolfville in 1988 to put no fine a point on it... so was pleased to complete the eviqualent of a Masters of Divinity at Acadia University before enrolling in the Doctorate of Ministry program in the spring of 2005 and launching Atlantic Webfitters. I hope you enjoy portal software as much as I do...
"Susan has recounted the fantastic help you have been to OVF in an hour of very great need. We greatly value your both stepping up to the plate and getting us back on the web in a tremendously time critical fashion. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with you both, and again thank you so much for your wonderful assistance to the cause of American overseas voters. - Chip Levengood, Treasurer, Member of the Executive Board" - Overseas Vote Foundation
